Trump Stays Calm After Nasty Attacks by Obamas During DNC
Remember when Michelle Obama said, “When they go low, we go high.”
She was talking about taking the high road when Republicans started attacking, but the shoe is now on the other foot.
The Obamas made it very personal against Trump, and his response surprised just about everyone, including this writer.
Take the Bait
Michelle Obama came out with her usual poisonous rhetoric, stating, "It’s his same old con: doubling down on ugly, misogynistic, racist lies as a substitute for real ideas and solutions that will actually make people’s lives better."
Then came Barack Obama, accusing Trump of childish attacks while making a childish attack against Trump.
Obama stated, "Here’s a 78-year-old billionaire who has not stopped whining about his problems since he rode down his golden escalator nine years ago.
"It has been a constant stream of gripes and grievances that’s actually been getting worse now that he is afraid of losing to Kamala.
“There’s the childish nicknames, the crazy conspiracy theories, this weird obsession with crowd sizes.”
Trump addressed the attacks at his rally in North Carolina, telling the crowd, "You know, they always say, ‘Sir, please stick to policy, don’t get personal.’ And yet they’re getting personal all night long, these people.
"Do I still have to stick to policy?"
The media then stuck a camera in his face, and Trump held it together…

I know his diehard supporters want him to spit venom, but that plays into the narrative that Democrats want to push.
If Trump goes off on personal attacks, all we would hear is, “I told you so.”
Stay on point because you don’t win elections with personal attacks; you win them by convincing the American people you have better policies for them.
Just look at what happened in 2020 when Trump focused on “basement Joe” instead of policy.
Now its Dems focusing on personal attacks. It might be difficult for Trump to bite his lip, but this is the way to go if he wants to win this election.
So, yes, Trump, you need to continue to stick to policy and brush off these personal attacks. They mean nothing and unless you truly care what these people think about you, stay the course and win this election.
