Trump: Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death

Donald Trump and Judge Merchan have been dancing for quite a few weeks now.

This ultimately led to Trump getting hit with a gag order, which he has now violated 10 times, resulting in $10,000 worth of fines.

Judge Merchan made it clear to Trump’s attorneys during Daniels’ testimony that Trump could be jailed, and now Trump is welcoming that over losing his right to Free Speech.

Send Me to Prison

If you read our reports regularly, you know I have already floated the idea that I think Trump wants to be put in jail to drive fundraising.

To that point, he continues to taunt Judge Merchan, all but asking the judge to toss him into a cell.

Donald Trump continues to push the narrative that Merchan is blocking his First Amendment rights with this gag order.

To that point, Trump posted, "It is a really bad feeling to have your Constitutional Right to Free Speech, such a big part of life in our Country, so unfairly taken from you, especially when all of the sleazebags, lowlifes, and grifters that you oppose are allowed to say absolutely anything that they want.

"It is hard to sit back and listen to lies and false statements be made against you knowing that if you respond, even in the most modest fashion, you are told by a Corrupt and Highly Conflicted Judge that you will be put in prison, maybe for a long period of time."

He also quoted one of our Founding Fathers, Patrick Henry, stating, "Give me liberty or give me death.”

Trump has done surprisingly well playing the victim card throughout this process, always seeing a huge uptick in fundraising every time he tells his supporters he is being wronged by the system.

It is a rather ironic strategy for someone who likes to project a tough-guy persona, but it has worked for him to this point, so I don’t see Trump stopping anytime soon.

And if he gets tossed into a cell, you better believe his team will be blowing up the Internet to drive fundraising for this election.
