Trump Called Out After Truth Social Post About Barron

Sometimes, I really wish Donald Trump would lock his phone in a safe and leave it there.

Trump recently made a post that received considerable attention for its comparison of Barron Trump and Hunter Biden.

After Trump made the post, his critics blew up, calling him a “liar.”

The Post

Someone had posted a meme with Barron and Hunter.

The picture was a younger version of Barron, looking innocent, side-by-side with a picture of Hunter Biden firing up a crack pipe.

It was captioned with “Raided by the FBI” over Barron and “NOT Raided by the FBI” over Hunter.

If you really wanted to stretch this, you could say that Barron’s home was raided because he was living with Trump at the time, but the target of the raid was clearly not Barron Trump, which was the focus of many of the responses.

Several went far deeper, calling Trump out for invoking his son’s name to try to get public empathy.

One person responded, "What a piece of work you are. Dragging your kid into your fight. They didn't raid Barron. They raided YOU, the criminal. The best thing that could happen for Barron would be for you to be incarcerated for the rest of your life. With no contact with the outside world.”

Another posted, "Barron wasn't raided by the FBI, you were. And by the way, everyone with any sense knows it was NOT a raid. You knew they were coming and was planned with your Secret Service Detail. If you hadn't taken what wasn't yours, it would never have happened, TRAITOR.”

There is something else about this to consider, and that is how Melania will react to all of this.

Melania has done everything possible to keep Barron out of the spotlight throughout the Trump presidency and the aftermath.

Now there is Donald Trump opening up Barron to pundit fodder by making that post.

I would imagine she will have a word or two to say to the former president about that.

This is what I like to refer to as an unforced error, and it was a big one.
