Top Biden staffer leaves team to work on Harris 2024 campaign

One of President Joe Biden's closest buddies, Anita Dunn, apparently reached her breaking point with the president around the same time the rest of America did:

Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance at the end of June.

Anita Dunn has been an employee of Joe Biden for YEARS, moving back and forth between the White House and Biden's campaign as required.

Unfortunately for Joe Biden though, a real split developed between Anita Dunn and the Biden family after Joe Biden's disastrous debate performance.

Anita Dunn was one of the people who helped Joe Biden prepare for the debate, so maybe she took his failure personally.

Maybe she was upset at Biden for not working as hard as he could to prepare for the debate.

Maybe she was upset at the Biden family for not admitting Joe simply doesn't have the mental stamina to complete these tasks anymore.

Whatever the reason, Anita Dunn is NOT a member of Team Biden anymore.

Don't worry liberal Anita Dunn fans, she's not going far.

Dunn has promised to join Kamala Harris' 2024 presidential campaign.

Joe Biden released a statement announcing Anita Dunn's departure:

"Four years ago, when I launched my campaign for the battle for the soul of our nation, I was grateful Anita Dunn was right there with me. I’ve known Anita throughout my career. She’s served our nation through three administrations and countless campaigns for candidates at every level."

Joe continued, "She’s not only a key senior member of our team that helped us win a historic election in 2020 — she’s also been an invaluable part of our White House. She’s tough and tested, and her experience and intellect have helped us deliver historic results for the American people."

Biden did not comment on why Anita Dunn was leaving his team.
