Singer Morgan Wallen arrested in Nashville on three felony charges

Early on Monday morning, three felony counts were filed against country vocalist Morgan Wallen in connection with an incident that occurred at Eric Church's new honky tonk on Broadway.

Sunday night, while standing in front of Chief's Bar on Broadway, several Metro Nashville police officers were struck by a chair that descended from above and struck the ground mere feet away, according to an arrest report for the 30-year-old singer, as Channel5 reported.

As per the detention report, personnel of Chief's informed the officers that Wallen was accountable for tossing the chair from the sixth floor of the establishment.

The officers were able to see video footage which showed Wallen "lunging and throwing an object over the roof," his arrest report said. Witnesses said officers Wallen laughed as well.

From the Arrest Report

According to the arrest report, Wallen was apprehended on charges of three counts of negligent endangerment, which included endangering the safety of two officers in the area as well as the public. Additionally, Wallen was accused of disorderly conduct, and his bond was set at $15,250.

The Davidson County Criminal Court website indicates that Wallen will appear in court again on May 3rd. On that date, his presence in Nashville was already anticipated. Nissan Stadium will host his tour on May 2nd and 3rd.

Wallen's attorney, Worrick Robinson, issued the following brief statement on Monday morning:

“At 10:53p Sunday evening Morgan Wallen was arrested in downtown Nashville for reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct. He is cooperating fully with authorities.”

Wallen's Previous Infamy

Wallen, not for the first occasion, has garnered considerable attention. Breitbart News reported that the country music superstar "used an unapproved word" in 2023 and "launched a humiliating re-education tour" five months later.

In stark contrast, the publication claims that Hunter Biden did the same thing but did not face any consequences; as a result, his painting career, which was both questionable and potentially corrupt, is now thriving.

Wallen was supposedly caught red-handed one night with his white friends using the second N-word—"ni**a"—on the way home from a night out drinking, according to a neighbor's surveillance video.

Additionally, he did not insult his friend or anybody else by using that word. He was merely using the word in a slang sense.
