Russian Forces Kill At Least Six And Wound 11 More In Ukraine's 2nd Biggest City

Governor of the Kharkiv region of Ukraine Oleh Syniehubov said that recent missile strikes on the city damaged residential buildings, a gas station, a kindergarten, a cafe, a shop, and cars.

The Ukrainians know exactly who is responsible for this tragedy.

The Russians.

In total, Russia fired 32 Shahed drones made in Iran and six missiles at Ukraine overnight.

Ukrainian air defense forces were able to shoot down three cruise missiles and 28 drones, Lt. Gen. Mykola Oleshchuk said in a statement.

"Russian killers continue to terrorize Ukrainians and attack Kharkiv and other peaceful cities," he said.

Russia has not commented on the strikes directly, but they did somewhat respond by saying that Ukraine had fired Vampire rockets at Russia on April 6.

The Russian Defense Ministry claimed that all 10 of the rockets fired by Ukraine were shot down over Russia's border region of Belgorod by air defense systems.

Commander of Ukraine's Armed Forces, Oleksandr Syrskyi, has said that Russia is not relenting on the ground either.

Russian forces are apparently advancing on the ground in Ukraine, and Oleksandr only called trying to push back against them a "difficult" task.

Particularly challenging, said Syrskyi, was the situation in the Bakmut area in the partially occupied eastern Donetsk region.

There, Russian forces are "carrying out offensive operations day and night, using assault groups with the support of armored vehicles, as well as assaults on foot."

The war between Ukraine and Russia is a mess both where people are being killed and right here in America.

It impacts us even without American boots currently on the ground in Ukraine because it takes time and money as well as other resources away from our country when we should be dealing with the pressing issues right here at home.

Please pray for peace between Russia and Ukraine, it's becoming more and more clear it's what the world needs.
