Rep. Jamaal Bowman as Principal Objected to Teaching About White Historical Figures

You don’t have to be a genius to suspect Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-N.Y.) of being a racist.

We have all heard his comments and wrongful accusations against Israel, so you can tack on anti-Semitism to that.

A new report dating back to Bowman’s days as a school principal should have the American people wondering how this man ever made it to Congress.

Damaging Days

Prior to entering Congress, Bowman was a middle-school principal, a fact he has brought to light many times in open discussions with Republicans about mass shootings in school.

He has always failed to share his beliefs about what our children were taught when he was in that role.

A new report revealed that in 2018, while speaking at the Alternative Education Resource Organization (AERO) conference, Bowman made some rather disturbing comments.

He stated, "You can’t have self-directed learning without self-empowerment.

"If our kids don’t love themselves, if they don’t love who they are and where they come from, and they’re told that Santa Claus, and George Washington, and Jesus Christ—all these white hope, great people—are the standard, how are they going to feel about themselves?

"And now they look at social media and they see cops killing people that look like them every other day. How do they feel about themselves?

“So the path towards education revolution and self-directed learning is self-empowerment."

Earlier in his career, Bowman created a “Wall of Honor” of black figures in history that he wanted his students to know about.

That in and of itself is not a problem, but the figures that he chose are.

Bowman installed former congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D- GA), Assata Shakur, and Mutulu Shakur on that wall, saying they "played a major role in moving our society … toward a world of freedom, justice, and equality."

What he neglected to mention was that McKinney was in attendance at an event denying the Holocaust ever took place.

He also neglected to mention the fact that Shakur had been convicted of killing a New Jersey State Trooper in 1973.

Mutulu Shakur was also no angel, having taken part in an armed robbery in 1981 where a security guard and two New York Police Officers were murdered.

Bowman’s office lashed out after the report surfaced, stating, "It is correct that many leaders in the Black liberation movement … have complicated biographies.

"It is completely baseless, and a rhetorical tool of the far-right, to insinuate educating students on major figures of Black American history is serving to promote hateful or divisive rhetoric or actions.

"Suppressing the education of Black history only serves to enable violence against Black people.”

Complicated? These people are anti-Semites and cop killers, but perhaps that explains why Bowman was caught sticking up for Hamas while preaching on a corner to constituents, literally saying there was no proof of Hamas raping women when they invaded Israel on October 7.

This man is the enemy, and he must be removed from Congress during this election, as he has no place sitting in Congress to represent the American people.
