Prominent Media Asking Harris to Step Down as Biden’s VP

It is tough to remember an election where we had VPs and prominent in the election as presidential choices as it has been in the 2020 and 2024 elections.

Since we are locked into Biden v. Trump 2.0, the VPs are just about as important as the top name because of the age of the candidates, more so the case for Joe Biden.

That being the case, Kamala Harris could impact Biden’s chances of being re-elected, which is why leftist media members are asking her to stand down.

Please Leave

Kamala Harris is one of the few politicians in this country with a lower approval rating than Joe Biden.

She joins a very short list that would include Senators McConnell (R-KY) and Menendez (D-N.J.).

McConnell has just worn out his welcome while Menendez is neck-deep in a bribery scandal.

In the latest polling, Harris's approval rating is just 37%, which is pitiful and actually lower than Joe Biden’s.

To that point, Kathleen Parker of the Washington Post editorial board is all but begging Harris to step aside and allow Joe to put someone else on that ticket.

She wrote, “This is why I propose with all due respect that Harris step away from the ticket. Please, Madame Vice President, do it for your country.”

The op-ed continued, “The Kamala conundrum comes down to this: She was picked because she was Black and female, a combo tantamount to job security.

“Now that she has become a burden to the Democratic ticket, Biden can’t fire her. He can’t risk alienating his base. Full stop. The seriousness of this situation can’t be overstated.

“Biden’s diminishing faculties, notwithstanding his relatively successful State of the Union address, and his increasing physical frailty are concerning.”

The problem, however, is that Harris, like just about everyone else in DC, is a narcissist.

She also has to know she has blown it and her political career is likely over after leaving office, so her only hope of living in the White House is to backdoor her way if Joe Biden needs to step aside.

And, let’s face facts… few thought Joe would make it all the way through his first term, let alone another four years.

If Biden does get re-elected, I have zero doubt that term will end with Harris behind the Resolute Desk, and as bad as Joe Biden is, Harris will be far worse.

Voters know this, and she could be the only thing keeping some moderates from voting for Biden, so I disagree with Parker.

Let’s just leave Harris alone and let her remain on the ticket. Let’s see how that works out for Democrats in 2024.
