Obama Speechwriter Does 180 on Opinion of Harris After Nomination

If you ever wanted to know why I don’t trust politicians as far as I could throw them, this will tell you why.

Jon Favreau, a former speechwriter for Barack Obama, has had two opinions about Kamala Harris.

He had one in 2020 when Harris was running against Barry’s bracelet buddy, and he has one now.

Waffling

Democrats are trying to sell the Harris-Walz ticket as a moderate Democrat ticket, when it is anything but.

Harris tried to sell herself the same way back in 2020, and Favreau almost fell out of his chair laughing to take her down.

At the time, he stated, "It was hilarious to me that she's being called in all of this coverage a 'moderate.' Like, 'Joe Biden has found a fellow moderate or centrist.'

"She supports something extremely close to Medicare-for-all, which [Sen.] Bernie Sanders acknowledged in his statement supporting her.

“She's for the Green New Deal. She has one of the most liberal records in the U.S. Senate!

"If you want to call Kamala Harris' record in the Senate and the policies that she's supporting now 'centrist' or 'moderate,' great!

"If that's where the Overton window has moved, then congratulations to all the progressive activists because you have f---in' moved the s--- out of that window!

“That supporting the Green New Deal and basically Medicare-for-all is now moderate and centrist! Fantastic!"

He has since changed his mind, now that the Democrats need to portray Harris as a moderate to win this election.

Now Favreau is calling her “mainstream,” telling Jesse Watters of Fox News, "She's progressive, right? She's like a Democrat.

“She's not like center of the spectrum, like I said, She's a mainstream Democrat."

Notice how the language changes to help her campaign… using the word mainstream is a far cry from calling her an uber-progressive, which she is.

I would say that Harris’ platform is far from mainstream, but we have no idea what her platform is because her website still doesn’t have one listed.

To make matters worse, the mainstream media is not even challenging her on this issue, nor are they giving her a hard time about not doing interviews.

In fact, if you watch some of the shows, the pundits are actually recommending that she stay away from interviews and talking policy and try to keep this about personality.

You know that is? State-run media and Democrat propaganda.
