Judge Will Not Commit to Allowing Trump to Attend Barron’s HS Graduation

Donald Trump received some bad news this week regarding his son Barron's high school graduation.

Barron will graduate, but Donald Trump may not be able to attend to see it in person.

Judge Merchan, the judge in the hush-money case, refused to commit to allow Trump the day off to attend.

Not Going

Judge Merchan is adamant that his case will not fall behind schedule, so he refused to give Trump the day off to attend his upcoming Supreme Court hearing.

Trump has been hitting Merchan non-stop on Truth Social since he was assigned to the case, so it was really no surprise to hear him refuse to commit to allowing Trump to take a break from the trial on Barron’s graduation day.

After the decision was announced, Trump hit Merchan again, stating, “(Barron’s) a great student and he’s very proud of the fact he did so well and was looking forward for years to having his graduation with his mother and father there, and it looks like the judge isn’t going to allow me to escape this scam. It’s a scam trial.”

Trump then went on Truth Social making several posts about the ruling, including, “Who will explain for me, to my wonderful son, Barron, who is a GREAT Student at a fantastic School, that his Dad will likely not be allowed to attend his Graduation Ceremony, something that we have been talking about for years, because a seriously Conflicted and Corrupt New York State Judge wants me in Criminal Court on a bogus ‘Biden Case’ which, according to virtually all Legal Scholars and Pundits, has no merit, and should NEVER have been brought.

“This Fake Case is solely meant to attack Crooked Joe Biden’s Political Opponent, ME, who is seriously leading him in the Polls, for purposes of Election Interference.

“The Judge, Juan Merchan, is preventing me from proudly attending my son’s Graduation. Seems very unfair, doesn’t it? But this whole event is unfair.

“Every one of the many Fake Cases that are perpetuated by the White House in order to help the Worst President in History, by far, get Re-Elected, are UNJUST SCAMS. We won’t let that happen, but we will MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

On Truth Social, the responses were mostly positive for Trump, but that was hardly the case on X.

After the Truth Social post was reposted on X, Trump’s detractors trolled him over Trump getting a taste of what Americans experienced after the lockdown was ordered during COVID, as people missed graduations, weddings, and funerals because of large gatherings being banned.

My opinion… I think Merchan will hold out until the last second, then give Trump permission to go just so he does not make a martyr of him.

Believe me, the last thing that Merchan wants to do is become material for a Trump fundraising email, where Trump has done very well using the victim card to drive campaign donations.
