Hope Hicks Blames Michael Cohen For Creating Trump Problems

During former President Donald Trump's New York hush money trial, former aide Hope Hicks was brought to the stand.

Her testimony was emotionally charged, and she took a big shot at Michael Cohen.

Cohen is Trump’s former lawyer and also a key witness in District Attorney Alvin Bragg’s case against Trump.

Bragg doesn't have much of a leg to stand on if America can't trust his witnesses.

Cohen is said to be the person responsible for paying adult film star Stormy Daniels nearly $150,000 of hush money to silence her from continuing the allegation that she had an affair with Trump years prior.

Trump has always denied the affair.

When on the stand, Hicks dropped a bomb.

Hicks said that Cohen “used to like to call himself Mr. Fix It, but it was only because he first broke it.”

The courtroom also discussed the infamous Access Hollywood tape that Judge Juan Merchan has already said is not admissible to be played in court as evidence.

The court filing said that the tape “bears directly on defendant’s intent and motive, both at the time that he and his confederates made the Stormy Daniels payoff and later when they sought to conceal that payment."

However, bringing the tape up verbally very well may have backfired against Trump prosecutors.

During her testimony, Hicks explained the president’s main concerns about the footage.

“He was worried about how this would be viewed at home. Mr. Trump really values Mrs. Trump’s opinion. She doesn’t weigh in all the time, but when she does… it’s valuable,” Hicks said.

“I don’t think he wanted anyone in his family to be hurt or embarrassed about anything on the campaign. He wanted them to be proud of him,” Hicks continued, suggesting that Trump's worries about the tape were personal, not electoral in nature.

What do you think will happen with this case against former President Donald Trump?
