Biden Signs Legislation After Disagreeing with Some Provisions
On Monday, Joe Biden signed the defense spending bill despite objections.
The $895 billion bill did have some provisions that Biden did not agree with, but he made himself out to be a martyr by signing off to keep the government operational.
One of the key provisions Biden disagreed with was the restriction of care for transgender children of military families.
Biden Not Happy
Biden has gone overboard in regard to transgender care.
In fact, I would say the entire Democrat Party has crossed a line that most Americans do not agree with on this front, even trying to hide care from parents.
Biden slammed the provisions added by the GOP, saying it will hurt recruiting efforts for our service branches.
Biden stated, “This section undermines our all-volunteer military’s ability to recruit and retain the finest fighting force the world has ever known by denying health care coverage to thousands of our service members’ children.
“No service member should have to decide between their family’s health care access and their call to serve our Nation.”
Ranking House Armed Services Democrat Adam Smith called the bill “bigoted against the trans community,” but I have to disagree.
The American people should not have to pay for elective surgery, especially when many do not approve of this treatment for children.
As I have stated many times, as an adult, you can make any decision you want with your life, but I will never be able to get behind these treatments for young children when we see, time and again, children regretting this decision later in life.
Allow them to grow up and become an adult before making such a drastic, life-altering decision.
