Authorities Investigating Threats Against Colorado Justices

Denver law enforcement and the FBI are now investigating numerous alleged threats against the Colorado justices who ruled to remove Donald Trump from the ballot.

The justices ruled 4-3 that Trump was ineligible to be on the ballot via Section III of the 14th Amendment.

Even though there is a stack of cases filed on this premise, Colorado was the first state to actually rule to remove Trump from the primary ballot.

Here Come the Threats

The reports of threats were about as predictable as the sun coming up in the morning after the ruling.

Once the ruling was made, Trump’s campaign released the following statement:

“Unsurprisingly, the all-Democrat appointed Colorado Supreme Court has ruled against President Trump, supporting a Soros-funded, left-wing group’s scheme to interfere in an election on behalf of Crooked Joe Biden by removing President Trump’s name from the ballot and eliminating the rights of Colorado voters to vote for the candidate of their choice.

“The Colorado Supreme Court issued a completely flawed decision tonight and we will swiftly file an appeal to the United States Supreme Court and a concurrent request for a stay of this deeply undemocratic decision. We have full confidence that the U.S. Supreme Court will quickly rule in our favor and finally put an end to these unAmerican lawsuits.”

Then came the threats from the crazies that think they are doing Donald Trump a favor by threatening justices of the Colorado Supreme Court, as if that will change their mind.

All this does is feed the Democrat narrative, whether they are hoaxes or not, of Trump’s supporters being lunatic cult members.

Local police stated they were adding “extra patrols around justice’s residences in Denver and will provide additional safety support if/as requested.”

The FBI added, “We will vigorously pursue investigations of any threat or use of violence committed by someone who uses extremist views to justify their actions regardless of motivation.”

Earlier in the week, CNN reported that the names and information of the four justices who ruled to remove Trump from the ballot were appearing in online forums.

An independent research organization did an online search on behalf of law enforcement and found no credible threats other than some idiotic rhetoric on a pro-Trump website, which stated, “All [expletive] robed rats must [expletive] hang.”

Everyone just needs to pump the brakes and allow this process to play out. Virtually every legal expert who has been discussing this is confident the Supreme Court will overturn the decision.
