'Nonparitsan' Supreme Court watchdog turns blind eye to Sotomayor travels

The latest news surrounding the U.S. Supreme Court PROVES just how biased the left truly is.

Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas has been in the hot seat for allegedly accepting luxury vacations from Harlan Crow, a billionaire Republican donor. This is not the first time Thomas has found himself the center of a scandal of this nature. A few years ago, Thomas was accused of accepting and not disclosing nearly 40 vacations, endless private jet flights, VIP passes, and so on.

“The statute itself is clear, and the justices can be very harsh on litigants who fail to follow statutory language. So I think they should hold themselves to that same standard,” legal expert Amanda Frost said at the time.

This isn't a defense of Thomas, we just want liberals in this country to be held to the same standard.

For some reason, liberals ONLY want to hold members of the REPUBLICAN party accountable.

If you need proof, just take a look at the track record of Supreme Court Justice Sonia Sotomayor.

According to the Washington Examiner, Sotomayor has committed similar offenses on multiple occasions.

She’s traveled to Austria and Switzerland, yet the trips were not included in reporting by a well-known, left-leaning watchdog group until they were caught and brought to light.

When they were caught, the response was truly shocking.

Gabe Roth, who runs the Fix the Court, the watchdog group that monitors such matters and reports on things such as trips taken by the justices, is also reportedly heavily affiliated with the Democratic Party.

Not only did Roth fail to apologize for the error, he went on to DEFEND the actions of Sotomayor, saying that the SCOTUS Justices are “prolific travelers," and that Fix the Court is “always happy to update the page when we learn of a new trip or event.”

The double standard at play is absolutely ridiculous.

In America, no one is above the law, and everyone needs to be held to the same standard.
