Harris Mocked for Having Walz Do CNN Interview with Her

Kamala Harris’ boycott of the media ended on Thursday with an interview with CNN.

She was slated to do the interview on Thursday afternoon, and it would air on Thursday evening during prime time.

Harris, however, was not doing the interview alone, and she is being widely criticized for needing her VP, Governor Tim Walz, by her side for the interview.

Needs Support

The Harris campaign website still does not have its platform posted, so we still have no idea what Harris’ agenda is other than the few morsels she has tossed out, most of which were rip-offs of Trump policies.

So, this interview is a chance for Harris to shine, but she is bringing along a babysitter to the interview.

Harris has always been a rather weak interviewee, and everyone knows it, so Walz will be there to deflect and jump in when Harris gets into trouble.

George W. Bush White House official Scott Jennings ripped Harris while appearing on CNN with Anderson Cooper.

Jennings stated, “I think it’s incredibly weak, weak sauce to show up with your running mate.”

He continued, “The fact that they don't have enough confidence in her to let her sit herself, the actual top of the ticket and do a single interview.

“In fact, I think the handwringing and the gyrations over this, over the last month show a troubling, lack of confidence in her political ability.”

Democrats, of course, are defending Harris, saying that she is bringing Walz to show unity and the fact they are doing this as a team.

Harris has enjoyed a honeymoon with the media, and she will probably continue to have that until the debate against Trump in September.

That will be the big day, and Donald Trump has to knock it out of the park to derail this campaign because from the previous of this interview, it looks like Harris was tossed another slow-pitch softball.
