CA Democrats Pass Legislation to Give Migrants $150,000 for Home Loans

Talk about idiocy…

That is the only way I can think to describe the latest piece of legislation to come from the California State Legislature.

If Newsom signs the bill, it would give illegal immigrants $150,000 toward a home loan.

Really?

The legislation, formally titled AB1840, was passed by the State Senate and is headed to the Assembly for final approval.

However, the bill in a different form had already passed the Assembly, so this is a mere formality before the bill sits on Newsom’s desk for his signature.

NBC reported, “The California Dream for All Program provided 1,700 first-time homebuyers with financial assistance of up to 20% of a home’s value for down payment and closing cost help. But the program ran out of funds within its first 11 days this year, an issue that was at the center of Tuesday’s debate on the Senate floor.

“Republicans worried more applicants could further crowd the program and take away assistance from veterans and documented immigrants. Democrats criticized some of the rhetoric around the bill and noted undocumented people who apply for the funds must work and pay taxes.”

Newsom had not hinted which way he is leaning, but I say let him sign it, and do you know why?

Let California taxpayers feel the brunt of this idiotic idea, and maybe then they will start to realize that Democrats have absolutely lost their minds in how they are pandering to illegals.

But there is another reason... if illegals are getting a $150,000 freebie from California, hopefully, they will all leave Texas and other red states and flock to California to set down their roots.

California can have them all if it wants them, and I am sure this tasty little incentive will lure them in like a fat worm on a hook.

There is one problem, however, and that is that this will also likely drive more migrants to hit our southern border to take advantage of the program, but I doubt that would upset Kamala Harris, who is more interested in helping illegals than she is Americans.

California taxes are already through the roof, and I just cannot imagine many conservatives staying in the state if this program becomes a reality.

So, yes, I say let them pass it, and also let them suffer the consequences of such an idiotic piece of legislation.
