Biden Campaign Stop Hit with Civil Rights Violations

Earlier this month, Joe Biden stopped at a Sheetz gas station in Pittsburgh while campaigning in Pennsylvania.

That now appears to be a very odd choice for Biden.

I say this because the company has been slapped by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for possible civil rights violations.

Odd Choice

Now, we have to believe that the Biden administration was fully aware of the possible charges being considered by its EEOC, which is supposed to be a bipartisan commission made up of presidential appointees.

According to the filing by the EEOC, the company has been discriminating against minority employment candidates.

The EEOC believes that Sheetz was weeding out applicants based on criminal background checks, which it claims disproportionately impacted Native American, Black, and multiracial jobseekers.

Background checks have been part of passing employment screening for decades, so I just don’t see how this is even relevant, but in this woke era, I guess employers are not supposed to protect their businesses against criminals, but I digress.

EEOC attorney Debra M. Lawrence stated, "Federal law mandates that employment practices causing a disparate impact because of race or other protected classifications must be shown by the employer to be necessary to ensure the safe and efficient performance of the particular jobs at issue.”

According to its investigation, 14.5% of black applicants were denied employment because of these failed checks, while only 8% of white applicants were denied for the same reason.

It did not state, however, if that was the only reason they were denied.

Lawrence added, "Even when such necessity is proven, the practice remains unlawful if there is an alternative practice available that is comparably effective in achieving the employer’s goals but causes less discriminatory effect.”

Sheetz has pushed back, claiming that it "does not tolerate discrimination of any kind."

The statement continued, "Diversity and inclusion are essential parts of who we are. We take these allegations seriously.

"We have attempted to work with the EEOC for nearly eight years to find common ground and resolve this dispute."

My personal feelings on this suit aside (and yes, I think it is complete and utter you know what), why was Joe Biden buying items from a company with such a dark cloud over its head regarding the very people in this country he claims he is trying to lift up.

Well, that would be because Joe Biden is a fraud, and he only uses minorities when it helps him get elected.

He has proven time and again they are nothing more than props for his elections, and he just proved that again.
