Good old Volodymyr Zelensky.
The man is running the grift of a lifetime and the idiots in Congress just gave him a standing ovation for it.
Biden told him he was giving him another $65 billion in aid, bringing our estimated "gift" to Ukraine to about $100 billion all-in, and he said he wants more.
Get a Suit
Maybe it sounds petty, but I was peeved by Zelensky when I saw him walk into the Capitol in boots, casual pants, and a sweatshirt.
I get that he is trying to create this image like he is ready for war at any time, but he is about as far away from the war as he could be.
He is also getting a ton of money, so the least he could do is respect the setting and put on a suit.
A video is popping around of VZ talking to his troops.
In the video, he stated, "The enemy increases the number of his troops.
"We will pass on gratitude from our boys to the U.S. Congress and U.S. president for their support, but it is not enough. Our boys are braver, and we need more sophisticated weapons. There is a hint here: It is not enough."
Prior to meeting with Biden, he added, "I am in Washington today to thank the American people, the president and the Congress for their much-needed support. And also to continue cooperation to bring our victory closer."
Do you know why Zelensky was here in the United States? Because he is a con man and he identified the biggest mark in NATO… Joe Biden.
The United States has already bucked up more than all other NATO countries combined, but here is Zelensky saying we are not giving him enough.
Go to the UK, go to Poland, go to France, or any of the other countries because this is out of control.
What makes this much worse is that we have no idea what he has done with any of the aid we have sent him because our government is not demanding an accounting of the assets.
Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX) stated, "I have been pushing the Biden administration to send support and weapons to Ukraine since early 2021, but Americans deserve a full accounting of how their money is being spent.
"We are simply asking the U.S. government to show us the receipts. I hope President Zelenskyy's arrival in Washington will encourage the White House to deliver an audit and prove our taxpayer dollars are being well spent."
Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) is pushing the same message, stating, "I think the American people and the taxpayers of this country deserve to know why the Biden administration and this Congress is so interested in funding the protection of Ukraine's border and not the protection of our border."
This, in all honesty, should be priority one when the GOP takes over the House, especially considering the new $1.7 spending bill is loaded with more aid for the Z man.
