Zac Brown And Wife Of 4 Months Planning To Divorce

Singing legend Zac Brown from the Zach Brown Band and his new bride, Kelly Yazdi, are calling it quits after just four short months of marriage.

The pair confirmed the news in a recent joint statement.

"We are in the process of divorce. Our mutual respect for one another remains. We wish each other the best and will always appreciate our time together. As we navigate this personal matter, we simply request privacy during this time,” Yazdi and Brown said.

Just last month, the pair hosted a celebration of their union after having married in August. Brown proposed in 2022 while the two were on vacation in Hawaii.

Any further information on the reason behind the separation has not been disclosed at this time.

However, the singer of hit song “Chicken Fried” had been married once before Yazdi.

Brown spent twelve years with his first wife, Shelly Brown, and had five children before divorcing back in 2018.

Brown and his first wife also released a joint statement to PEOPLE confirming their separation.

"We feel blessed to be on such an incredible journey in life, and sometimes the journey begins to lead in different directions. It is with deep love and respect that we announce we are separating as a couple. We have led a whirlwind life together, growing into a beautiful family with five amazing children, and while life will be rearranging a bit, our love and commitment to our family will always be there. This was a difficult decision, but we’ve done plenty of tough things together, and this is our next venture — love, mutual respect and care for each other are what we are moving forward with," the statement said.

Divorce is never easy.

While we don’t know the full details of Brown and Yazdi’s situation, we hope they are able to peacefully navigate the end of their relationship and find happiness in their next relationships.
