An illegal immigrant who recently arrived in New York City is dead.
NYC Mayor Adams broke the news this week.
Adams, however, kept most of the details very close to the vest.
What Happened?
I wish we could answer that question, but Adams did not really provide many details.
The Mayor stated, "The thousands of asylum seekers we have seen arrive in our city came to this country seeking a better life.
"Sadly, though, yesterday, an asylum seeker in one of our facilities took her own life.
"Our hearts break for this young woman and any loved ones she may have, and we as a city mourn her."
The Coalition for The Homeless, which provides oversight to the Department of Homeless Services, has not yet been informed of the death.
Exactly how she committed suicide is also not known.
It would be interesting to see the facility's conditions where the suicide happened.
Now, we know Democrats will try to pin this death on Governor Abbott if she is one of the illegals that he shipped to New York City.
I have a different theory… maybe this woman realized that a life in the United States was not quite what she had hoped.
These people are given the impression that once they get here, a pot of gold awaits them, not homeless shelters, high crime rates, and financially crushing inflation.
I would imagine it is rather devastating to find out everything you believed would be true is, in fact, a lie.
