Wisconsin's Republican State Assembly Speaker just dropped a bombshell on the state Supreme Court.
Assembly Speaker Robin Vos has put together a panel that will review the criteria for the impeachment of the new liberal justice who just won an election to the Supreme Court.
This is all based on statements made by Justice Janet Protasiewicz during her campaign, reported the Daily Caller.
Impeach
Impeaching has become the hot term as of late. When you don't like someone, you impeach them.
In this particular case, however, I believe they have a case.
Protasiewicz specifically mentioned the district lines and how she felt the map was rigged. She never specifically stated that she was going to change the maps, but it was inferred that she would side with Democrats on this issue.
This case had been bouncing around for some time, and the answer by the GOP was to assign a new nonpartisan committee to set the map, to which the Governor, a Democrat, said he would veto…
Republicans, who've been ramping up their efforts to interfere in Wisconsin elections, are now demanding Legislature-picked and Legislature-approved map drawers for legislative districts. That's bogus.

Vos responded, "I'm still optimistic the maps we have are totally legit.
"I think Justice Protasiewicz should recuse herself because she has biased herself in the process."
The win by Protasiewicz was monumental in terms of shaping the state of Wisconsin.
This is the first time in more than a decade that liberals and Democrats have had control of the court, and it terrifies the GOP, and rightfully so.
We have seen what Democrats have done in the past when they get control of a state Supreme Court, so this battleground state could quickly turn into a firm blue state if they have their way.
I don't know if this impeachment will be successful, but conservatives in this state better wake up and start to show up and vote on election day. If not, we are going to lose these key states forever.
