Tuesday night started off with amazing news.
I cannot say enough about the wins by Ron DeSantis and Senator Rubio in Florida.
There was a red wave on Tuesday, but it was only limited to Florida.
If there was ever a doubt that Ron DeSantis was the future of the Republican Party, they were all put to bed on Tuesday night.
DeSantis obliterated Crist in an election where virtually every Trump gubernatorial candidate lost.
Voters judged DeSantis on his record, and it is a good one.
DeSantis has proven to be an exceptional governor who stands up to Democrats, media scrutiny, and he listens to his voters.
On the big win, DeSantis stated, "We stood our ground.
"We did not back down.
"We had the conviction to guide us, and we had the courage to lead.
"We made promises to the people, and we have delivered on those promises."
Rubio's win was just as impressive and delivered a crushing blow to a top Biden ally.
Not only that, his win will enable the GOP to take the Senate if we can win two of the three remaining key seats.
This race was not even close, defying polls, with Rubio winning 57.7 to 41.2 percent.
Even better than these wins were the inroads the GOP made to districts that have long been deep blue.
