Willis Accused of Sabotaging Young Thug Case on Purpose

Fani Willis has yet another legal problem on her hands.

Her office is now being accused of purposely sabotaging its case against Young Thug so it can hit the reset button.

Young Thug is on trial with 27 other alleged members of the Young Slime Life gang.

Hit the Reset

The case, along with the Trump case, gave Willis national headlines, but both cases have been badly mismanaged from the outset.

The Trump case has been on hold for months and will remain so through at least December due to an affair that Willis had with a prosecutor on the case.

Trump is now litigating having her removed from the case, and a hearing has been scheduled for December.

The case itself cannot proceed until that issue is settled.

In the Young Thug case, Willis’ office has been accused of having inappropriate meetings behind closed doors with an uncooperative witness, prosecutors, and the judge.

The defense is now accusing Willis’ office of having conducted those meetings on purpose to sabotage the case so that prosecutors could hit the reset button and start fresh.

Attorney Douglas Weinstein argued, "What is the State to do?

"Losing its case, apparently unconcerned about the need for public justice, the State clearly sought an opportunity to restart the trial by triggering an event in such egregious violation of the Constitutional rights of Kendrick that he would have no choice but to request a mistrial."

The filing went on: "Now, goaded by the State and the actions of Chief Judge [Ural] Glanville, Kendrick has no option but to move this Court for a mistrial to respect the Constitutional rights of Kendrick and not defeat the ends of public justice."

Previous motions had been filed to remove Judge Glanville from the case, a motion that was finally granted about a week ago.

The case was initially reassigned to Judge Shukura Ingram, who was just recused from the case, so it has been reassigned again, this time to Judge Paige Reese Whitaker.

Now an attorney for one of the defendants is saying the only way to rectify this mess is to declare a mistrial.

The filing stated, "This Honorable Court is now faced with the unenviable and impossible task of rewinding the case to the afternoon of June 12, 2024.

"How is this Court to accomplish this impossible task? How does this Court take the jurors' notes from these days from the jurors? How can the jury unhear days and days of testimony?

"This is not a matter of a witness uttering a single statement that a court instructs the jury to disregard.

"It is neither feasible nor plausible that an instruction to disregard days of testimony can be followed."

Yet, with all these problems, Willis overwhelmingly won her primary race in May, garnering 89% of the vote.

This just goes to show the idiocy of the Democrat voter these days… they are trained zombies who blindly pull the handle with any familiar name that has a D next to it in the voting booth.
