Joe Biden's mouth has gotten him into trouble again.
Biden was asked about traveling to the border this week since he was already going to be in the area.
Biden said there were "more important" things going on.
Now the White House is scrambling to spin the narrative, but it is not working.
Can you imagine being a farm owner on the border that has had their property stolen by illegal immigrants?
What about the citizens of these border towns that are being overwhelmed by these illegal immigrants?
This is their primary concern right now, but it is not even on the radar of Joe Biden.
This, of course, does not even mention the hardworking men and women of our Border Patrol, who are just getting crushed right now.
Yet, what was Biden's response to heading down to the border…
When the White House was asked about Biden's comments, the spin started.
The White House stated, "The President was clear that his top priority is investing in the American economy and in American communities, out-competing China, and bringing back American jobs from overseas. In fact, as Fox News' own analysis showed, the economy is the top issue for most Americans. If anyone believes that shouldn't be the President's top priority too, they should say that out loud,"
"Of course, the President is also taking action to secure our border and build a fair, orderly, and humane immigration system."
"President Biden is focused on real solutions, not political stunts. And if border security is such a top priority for Republican officials, voting against President Biden's request for record funding for the Department of Homeland Security, as Representative Roy did, is an odd way to show it."
Nobody here is denying that the economy and inflation are top of mind for most people, but is Joe Biden capable of only addressing one task at a time?
We are taking about dropping in and showing your face for an hour to let people know you care, and he could not even do that.
