We are seeing rising crime rates around the country that are now completely out of control.
This started when Trump was in office, but it had nothing to do with Trump and everything to do with the defund the police movement being pushed by Democrats.
Keep that point in mind as you hear White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre NOT answer the question put to her by Fox News' Peter Doocy.
Are They Safe?
Doocy hit KJP with a simple yes or no question, but she decided to answer it like Stephen A. Smith.
Doocy asked, "Does President Biden think America's big cities are safe?
"We know that deaths and robberies are up about 20 percent in the first half of this year, so I'm wondering if he thinks America's big cities are safe."
KJP responded, "Look, this is a president who has secured historic funding to make sure law enforcement has what it needs.
"And he was able to do this in the face of opposition from Republicans."
Doocy eventually cut her off, asking, "Just the original question: Does President Biden think America's big cities are safe?"
She came back, "It is not a yes or no question. It is very much a question of what has he done…to make sure that cities…have the funding and have what they need to protect their community, and that is what the president has done."
She also stated that this was a problem that Biden inherited from the previous administration.
Point one… no, Republicans did not vote against police funding, but they did vote against all the other wasteful spending in that legislation.
Point two… this was not an inherited problem but rather one that was caused by the policies of Democrat mayors around the country that wanted to suck up to ANTIFA and BLM.
Point three… Biden has done nothing to fix the issue because if he had, crime rates would not be up 30 percent in some cities since he took office.
They do not get to blame this on the bad orange man or Republicans in general.
Their party created this mess and they need to fix it!
