White House Confirms No Pardon for Hunter Biden

On Thursday, Hunter Biden stunned the entire country by changing his plea in his tax evasion case to guilty.

Hunter has used every excuse possible to try to get out of these charges, but his efforts have all fallen flat.

Now don’t be surprised if the media makes him out to be a hero for “sacrificing” himself to save his family.

Still No Pardon

Hunter revealed that he wanted to plead guilty to have this all over with, saying that he has embarrassed his family enough and that it was time to own up to what he did and move past it.

The media is already gushing over him, but one thing he may have been counting on is not going to happen, at least initially.

Hunter is surely counting on being pardoned at some point, but that will not be coming from his father.

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked if Biden would issue a pardon for Hunter on his way out the door now that Hunter has pleaded out the case.

KJP responded, “It’s no, it’s still a no.”

She added, "I'm not able to comment on it, but I can say that it is still very much a 'no' to the questions I have gotten about if the president is going to pardon [Hunter]."

This is still far from a done deal, however.

The actual details of the plea deal have yet to be formally introduced to the court, and even then, the terms will have to be accepted by the judge for the plea deal to be formalized.

This late in the game, Hunter does not have much to bargain with, so he is literally at the mercy of prosecutors.

Having said that, they are Garland’s prosecutors, so don’t expect a lengthy jail sentence, if there is a jail sentence at all.

I would be surprised if was not forced to pay some sort of fine, then given parole or house arrest… but we shall see.
