White House Aide: Biden, Don’t Watch the GOP Debate

Joe Biden has been issued a warning from one of his aides.

The aide is suggesting that with Biden being on vacation, he would be best served to avoid the TV and not watch the debate.

White House principal deputy press secretary Olivia Dalton told the media this week that she doesn’t want Joe to watch the debate, “for his sake,” reported the Washington Examiner.

The Debate

The GOP debate is scheduled to start at 9:00 p.m. EDT, which would normally be past Joe’s bedtime.

He will be at Lake Tahoe, though, so it will only be 6:00 p.m. when it comes on local TV, so Joe may still be up.

It is a given that Joe Biden’s possible impeachment and Hunter Biden’s business dealings are going to be front and center during the debate.

Dalton stated, “I can’t shed any light on how he’s spending some valuable quality family time out here, but certainly, he’s been engaged on a daily basis and confronting some of these extreme events we’re seeing,” reported Breitbart.

When she was asked about Biden watching the debate, she continued, “I don’t know. I sure hope not. For his sake, but I don’t know.”

Let’s also not forget, Hunter is on vacation with Joe, so he surely does not want to listen to this either.

I would also imagine that Joe will get hit for being on vacation, as he has spent almost 40 percent of his time in office away from the White House.

Polling numbers will also come up, which is another sore subject for Joe Biden. He is underwater in every key category, especially on the economy, which will surely be a topic of discussion.

Having said all that, I simply cannot imagine that Joe Biden will be able to resist turning that TV on to watch.

If he is not watching the debate, I am sure he will be watching the Donald Trump interview with Tucker Carlson. I will probably have both on because I think this debate will be fire, but I also want to hear how Trump can possibly justify not going to the debate after firing off all these attacks against Ron DeSantis.

I am also interested in hearing how Chris Christie approaches this debate, as I really don’t see him being in this race much longer.
