Where Will KJP Wind Up?

Typically, being a White House Press Secretary gives you carte blanche in the news world once the administration leaves office.

To that point, former White House Press Secretaries Kayleigh McEnany and Jen Psaki both wound up with network gigs as soon as they left office.

By most standards, Karine Jean-Pierre has been a complete and utter disaster, so there is a lot of speculation about opportunities that will be available to her, especially considering her role in helping to mislead the public about Joe Biden.

Even though Jean-Pierre was awful as a press secretary, I expect the liberal mainstream media outlets to get into a bidding war over her.

They are going to want her input on the new policies being put in place by the new administration, especially when it comes to immigration.

Daily Caller alum and media veteran Kay Hill predicted, “She’ll go where all the other failed Hollywood actors go when they’re useless to the deep state: a cable chat show that exclusively exists to sell weird books and products to lonely women.”

NewsBusters Managing Editor Curtis Houck is thinking along those same lines, stating, “I fully anticipate someone will hire her as a contributor, whether it be a return to MSNBC or even CNN.”

Houck continued, “In a merit-based world, Karine Jean-Pierre would be unemployable in TV news.

“It’s still remarkable to me that she spent years as an established cable news pundit and sitting for lengthy segments where guests would have to think on their feet and go beyond talking points.”

CNN’s Scott Jennings, a conservative commentator for the network, pulled no punches, stating, “Where do you go to wash off the catastrophic amount of lying she did to the American people about Biden’s condition?

“She’s at the center of the biggest scandal going in American politics.”

He is 100% correct, but as the other commentators suggested, none of that will matter to the mainstream media.

I really wish we could get some integrity back to the Press Secretary position to the point that they would be required to tell the truth rather than all spin when they take the dais in the White House briefing room.

The funny thing is, Jean-Pierre regularly threw darts at the GOP and Trump for misinformation, but she was telling the American people lies every day she stood in that room.

The most notorious of which was calling actual videos of Biden wandering around aimlessly at the G7 Summit “cheap fakes.”

We can also add the lies about the Hunter Biden pardon to that list.

Every administration spins to a point, but this woman just outright lied day in and day out, so she surely does not deserve a national platform after leaving office, but we all know she will get it.
