Watchdog Wins Case Against Biden’s CDC Regarding Deleted Emails
America First Legal is at it again.
The Trump-affiliated conservative watchdog had sued the CDC regarding a violation of the Federal Records Act.
AFL sued to have the CDC stop deleting communications and actually secured the win in the case.
We Win
This is a big win in the chase for COVID information by the AFL.
After the ruling was released, the AFL stated, "Notably, while the Biden-Harris administration has been slapped down for illegally violating the law, CDC employees’ homes were not searched and raided without notice or consent, nor have their families had to endure the trauma and onslaught of legal fees or indictments.
"Yet, the Biden-Harris Administration did exactly that to President Trump.
“We cannot have a country where government bureaucrats are allowed to circumvent the law without repercussion, and innocent civilians are subjected to invasive and unlawful political persecution for saying the ‘wrong’ thing.
“The two-tiered justice system in the United States has never been more prevalent.”
AFL executive director Gene Hamilton added, "The Biden-Harris Administration was actively destroying the records of federal employees at the CDC in blatant violation of the law–and we are pleased that the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia has ordered a stop to their illegal conduct.”
If you recall, when the deletion of emails was initially challenged, the CDC claimed it was within proper procedures for deleting the emails.
The CDC policy at the time was to “instruct individual email account holders to apply retention based on the email’s content value and its applicability to a NARA-approved records schedule.”
The CDC is also in that legal mess regarding censorship on social media regarding accounts that dared to question the government’s position on COVID and the vaccine.
At some point, we may get to the bottom of this, but I think we will have a much better chance if Trump wins the presidential election.
If Harris wins, you better believe these policies will continue.
