Watchdog Finds Biden Admin Lagging Behind On Key AI Safeguards

A watchdog group has come out and told Americans that one of the biggest potential problems for Americans is going unchecked by Joe Biden's government.

We're talking about artificial intelligence.

AI is coming, there's no doubt about that.

It hasn't been very long at all since AI was opened up for normal Americans to have access to, and it's already changing the way the world works.

Employees are using AI to get work done at the office, kids are using AI for their homework, and companies are using AI to help with marketing efforts.

AI is either going to be completely here very soon, or it already is.

Is America ready?

According to the Government Accountability Office (GAO), Joe Biden's administration is NOT doing its due diligence in keeping America prepared for AI.

In fact, it is lagging way behind.

"Although certain federal agencies have taken initial steps to comply with guidance and statutory requirements, key efforts to strengthen management of AI have missed deadlines and are not yet completed," the GAO said in a recently published report.

It's kind of scary just how unaware and behind Joe Biden's administration is.

The report had literally dozens of recommendations to 19 different agencies in Biden's administration.

Every single one of them needs to take additional steps to make sure that the federal requirements on AI are being met.

Kind of scary when you consider that we've known AI was coming for quite some time now, and for most of that time, we've known that AI could completely change the way the world around us works.

This doesn't seem like something on which you would want Joe Biden and his team lagging behind.

Sadly, that's exactly what's happening.
