Washington Post Calls Harris Economic Plan ‘Populist gimmicks’

Slowly but surely, the media is discovering why Kamala Harris took so long to reveal her agenda.

It turns out, it is all smoke and mirrors being used to trick voters.

So much so, even the Washington Post called out her economic agenda as a gimmick.

They Want Socialism

For Dems, giving money away and talking tough against capitalism is how they get the younger generation to vote for them.

The Washington Post, which has done its fair share of covering for Joe Biden and Harris over the last three-plus years, was not happy with her economic plan.

While the Kool-Aid pundits gushed over the policy, the Washington Post shattered the illusion of what Harris released.

In part, the editorial board wrote, "Ms. Harris says she’ll target companies that make ‘excessive’ profits, whatever that means.

"Thankfully, this gambit by Ms. Harris has been met with almost instant skepticism, with many critics citing President Richard M. Nixon’s failed price controls from the 1970s.

“Whether the Harris proposal wins over voters remains to be seen, but if sound economic analysis still matters, it won’t."

The piece estimated that Harris’ plan would add $1.7 trillion to a deficit that is already out of control, as she literally has no plan to pay for all these giveaways.

Listen, I am sick of corporate greed, but as consumers, we need to put pressure on these companies not to price gouge… that cannot come from the government.

For instance, last week, it was reported that the new CEO of Starbucks is getting a welcome package of about $85 million for a company that charges consumers $8 for a cup of coffee and makes more than $20 billion a year in profits.

You know how you fix that? You stop buying Starbucks and make a $0.50 cup of coffee at home.

If we turn over pricing to the government, we are yet another step closer to socialism, and that appears to be the goal of the new Democrat Party, and Harris appears to be all-in.

But hey, don’t take my word for it… read what the Washington Post said about it for yourself, then tell me if I am wrong or right.
