WaPo Provides Biden Withdrawal Speech
How bad does the mainstream media want Biden to drop out so Dems still have a chance to win this election?
Well, how about the Washington Post providing a withdrawal speech for Biden?
At first, I thought this was kind of funny, but it is actually a bit concerning.
Here You Go, Joe
For most of the last three-plus years, the media has been covering for Joe Biden rather than covering Joe Biden.
This is why we are seeing such an overreaction by everyone after the debate.
They need to convince the American people they were actually surprised by Biden’s performance rather than knowing Biden has been a ticking timebomb the entire time.
To that point, The Washington Post is now among the news agencies telling Joe Biden to step down, but the publication went so far as to write a withdrawal speech for Biden to allow him to gracefully step away.
It reads, "They knew, too, that relying on a single individual, a king, might create the illusion of strength but would be at its core fragile. Over the past few days, I have been reflecting on all this.
“My season of service is nearing its close. This was a hard truth to face. But it is the natural course of things — as evident as the progression from spring to summer, from fall to winter.
“This is why I have decided to withdraw from the campaign for president of the United States."
It continues, "The Democratic National Committee, senior Democratic leaders and I have agreed on an orderly process to select our next nominee, which will include debates between now and our convention in August.
"My vice president, Kamala Harris, has graciously and courageously agreed to participate. Though Democratic primary voters cannot be included at this late date, their delegates will make the final choice."
The speech concluded, “Americans, I invite you to search your soul as I have. Are we so unsure of ourselves that we will empower a would-be king, one who has been given expansive powers by an activist Supreme Court?
"Or will we look back on Washington’s example, in the spring of American life, and recognize that our independence is built on service, sacrifice, a willingness to assume the best in one another and the belief there will be better seasons to come?"
Now, like I said… at first, this was kind of funny, then I realized this is a major publication actually providing the out for Biden to make Harris more attractive to defeat Donald Trump.
Just consider this question for a second… if Trump was the one stammering and freezing, do you think the media would go to this degree to help save the presidency for Republicans?
We all know the answer, which is why this report has lost its humor to me and now creates even more worry that we are getting closer to state-run media than ever before.
