Walz’s Ties to China Becoming Top of Mind Before VP Debate
If Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) is smart, he will have Minnesota Governor Tim Walz on the defensive all night during the VP debate.
There are a lot of questions about Walz that need to be answered, such as lying about his military record, lying about his time in China, and, of course, his deep ties to China.
The latter is likely to be a hot topic, as it was getting quite a bit of attention as we headed into Tuesday evening.
Big Questions
When the questions about Walz’s ties to China were first brought up, I really did not think there was much too it.
On the surface, he participated in a student teaching program and ran a camp for students to visit China.
I have some friends who participated in similar programs in other countries, so I really did not think that much of it.
However, the more I heard, the more Walz sounded like Minnesota’s version of Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT), and that got my full attention.
At that point, it was no surprise to see Rep. James Comer (R-KY) take up the battle, saying that Walz was typical of the person the Chinese would look to groom.
When you add in the fact that Walz retired from the Guard when he found out they were actually going to war, it all started to connect.
I am not saying that Walz is a Chinese spy by any means, but there are clearly concerns here, especially when you realize the man has not told a single truth about his record, including being in Hong Kong during the Tiananmen Square Massacre.
In his investigation of Walz, Comer wrote, “In particular, if a state governor and major political party’s nominee for Vice President of the United States has been a witting or unwitting participant in the CCP’s efforts to weaken our nation, this would strongly suggest that there are alarming weaknesses in the federal government’s effort to defend the United States from the CCP’s political warfare that must be urgently addressed.”
I just don’t trust the man, and I suspect that JD Vance will drive some of this home during the debate on Tuesday night.
And I don’t want to hear that Walz misspoke again… the man is a serial liar about his record, and there has to be reason why.
