Walz Leaves Wounded Behind After Motorcade Crashes

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz believes in leaving every man behind.

If we are to believe the reports that he abandoned his battalion when he found out they were about to be deployed to a war zone, this report makes perfect sense.

That being that after his motorcade was involved in an accident, he just kept rolling along to his campaign event.

Motorcade Hit

According to the report, the accident occurred in the rear of the motorcade.

This more than likely did not worry Walz because that section of the motorcade was “only” low-level staffers and members of the media—in other words, nobody of real importance to Walz.

Walz was headed to an event for the Harris-Walz campaign, far more important than making sure everyone in the motorcade was okay.

Reports stated that the accident occurred around 1:57 p.m. local time when several vans collided.

New York Times reporter Jazmine Ulloa reported, “A staff member in our press van appears to have a broken arm and is being treated by medics.

“Everyone else is shaken but appears to be in okay condition. We were violently thrown forward, as our van slammed into the one in front of us and was hit from behind.”

While the vans involved in the accident pulled over to the side of the road, the front of the motorcade, which was where Walz was located, motored on.

Walz was kind enough to discuss the incident at the event.

He stated, "Some of my staff and members of the press that were traveling up with us were involved in a traffic accident on the way here today. We’ve spoken with the staff.

"I’m relieved to say that with a few minor injuries, everybody’s going to be okay.”

The White House added, “The Vice President has been briefed on the collision involving Gov. Walz’ motorcade and her staff will continue to update her throughout the day.

“The Vice President spoke with Gov. Walz prior to takeoff from Detroit to check on him and the staff.”

Republican Vice Presidential Candidate JD Vance (R-OH) mentioned the accident on X, posting, "Hoping everyone's OK."

Ulloa continued, “We are still unclear on what caused the crash. A woman in a BMW appears to have been stopped on a road that should have been cleared for the motorcade.

“The staffer who was injured was part of traveling pool staff, per the campaign.”

While Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have not called the families of the 13 troops that were killed in Afghanistan, they did reportedly call Tim Walz to make sure he was okay in an accident he was not involved in, which is very touching.
