Walz Admits He Was Surprised by Election Loss to Trump
Minnesota Governor Tim Walz just did his first sit-down interview since he and Kamala Harris got pummeled by Trump in the 2024 election.
One would think that with all the signs given by polling as we headed down the final stretch, the loss would not have been that shocking.
For Walz, it was, but that is far from what Democrat voters need to be concerned about.
A Little Surprised
A key sign of narcissism is the inability to accept blame for something that went wrong. A warning sign for gaslighting is someone projecting their faults onto you to make you feel guilty or upset for having let them down.
When Tim Walz was asked about his feelings for having lost to Donald Trump, his answer had all of that and more.
Walz stated, “It felt like at the rallies, at the things I was going to, the shops I was going in, that the momentum was going our way, and it obviously wasn’t at the end.
“So yeah, I was a little surprised. I thought we had a positive message, and I thought the country was ready for that.”
Read that line again… “I thought we had a positive message, and I thought the country was ready for that.”
In that one sentence, he questions people’s intelligence as well as making the loss appear to be the voters’ fault for “not being ready” for this moment.
The fact of the matter is that this campaign was a sham right from the start.
I continue to maintain that I thought Harris getting the nod was unconstitutional and I would have challenged it in court (I still believe that is a card the Trump campaign was saving just in case they lost the election).
From the first day Harris took over, her polling numbers were going backward, but Dems continued to point to polls that were clear outliers to drum up support.
This had nothing to with the people being ready and everything to do with the wrong candidates being on the ticket for the Democrat Party.
The sad reality for Walz is that even though he was just given a smack in the face by voters, he continues to fail to see the message that was sent with that massive loss in the 2024 general election.
