Vulnerable Dems ordered to avoid Kamala Harris for fear of further ruining image
Well, now that this memo has gone public, Kamala Harris' campaign may be in some serious trouble.
You shouldn't be surprised to find out that Democrats across America often work together in their reelection efforts. Behind the scenes, Democrat Congressional Campaign Committee chair (DCCC) Representative Suzan DelBene of Washington helps coordinate all of these efforts.
It's being reported that DelBene is spending a considerable amount of time making sure that vulnerable Democrats don't align themselves too closely with Kamala Harris.
This is TERRIBLE public relations for Kamala Harris, as the way the public will interpret this is that Kamala Harris is such a terrible candidate that she's likely to hurt the election chances of people who side with her.
Kamala Harris is such poison that DelBene only wants Democrats who are practically guaranteed to win their election to get anywhere near America's Vice President.
DelBene was recently asked during an interview if it was "a good idea for those vulnerable Democrats to align themselves with Kamala Harris."
It's clear what DelBene thinks on this issue, but she had to give a politician's non-answer.
We know what she meant, though.
"Our races have all been local races. They’re about our candidates and the strength of our candidates," she said.
"You don’t think this will be nationalized?" the reporter pressed.
DelBene still would not say that Democrats should gang up with Kamala Harris to strengthen their chances:
"I think every – on these congressional races, district by district, this is going to be about the candidates we have and how they’re standing up for their communities."
If DelBene thought that Kamala Harris was a decent candidate at all, she would have come right out and trumpeted that fact from the beginning.
She hasn't been doing that publicly, and behind the scenes, she's been doing the complete opposite.

When the "best" Democrat is this bad, you know the entire party is in a serious pickle.
