Voter Fraud Stories Dominating Social Media, Breeding More Mistrust in Elections
The last decade in this country has been nothing like we have ever seen before in terms of election integrity.
With all the claims of voter fraud, it reminds me of the voting scene in “Gangs of New York,” where people are being forced to vote at gunpoint and sent back in to vote again after having cast a vote.
Today, the difference is that social media has enhanced fraud claims to the point that many people in this country no longer trust that elections are free and fair.
Stop the Steal
This all got started in 2016 when Hillary Clinton and Democrats started pushing the narrative that Russia was manipulating our elections in favor of Trump.
Now, as I have stated in other reports, this was nothing new, as foreign countries have been trying to hack our elections for many decades, but Dems were setting the table to reject the election of Donald Trump.
Trump put this narrative on steroids in 2020, going so far as to have the “Stop the Steal” rally, which ultimately led to a riot at the Capitol.
To this day, Trump insists that he won that election, even though in virtually every state, Republican officials have investigated the elections and never found enough voter fraud to back Trump’s claims.
To those doubting those investigations, just ask yourself why, if Trump’s claims are true, did someone like James Comer or Jim Jordan not turn up anything in their dozens of investigations to back the claims?
Moving forward, we are headed to 2024, and yes, there is likely to be some fraud, but the fraud that does exist seems far worse than it is due to social media.
Now, anyone who regularly reads my reports knows I believe there is fraud, but I also don’t think it can impact a general election.
I do, however, believe it can impact local elections, which is why I continue to report on it and demand action until we can have an election with zero voter fraud.
Our government is now claiming that Russian actors are again spreading misinformation on social media to swing the election.
After there were problems with fraudulent voter registration forms being uncovered in two Pennsylvania counties, Trump got fired up again, stating, “Pennsylvania is cheating, and getting caught, at large scale levels rarely seen before.
“REPORT CHEATING TO AUTHORITIES. Law Enforcement must act, NOW!”
A recent poll found that nearly 70% of Americans believe that if Trump loses, he will claim voter fraud cost him the election, something that has been echoed by Trump supporters.
For instance, one supporter stated, “I feel very confident about Trump, as long as there’s no cheating. Our only hope is that it’s not big enough to change the result.”
I have a fairly large network of conservative friends, and I can tell you that nearly every one of them now believes our elections are rigged.
Will a Trump victory change that? I have no idea, but I can tell you a Harris win would have them convinced that there will never be another fair election in this country again.
And let’s face facts here, Democrats are not helping their case by suing to block voter ID laws and trying to have ballots counted that would normally be disqualified via current state election laws.
Honestly, regardless of how this election turns out, I am not sure anyone will ever really have 100% faith in our elections again.
