US Border Agent Killed Chasing Border Crossers

More problems at the border and it is tough to believe the mainstream media can continue to ignore this problem.

This time, a border agent lost his life chasing migrants who had entered the country illegally.

Agent Raul Gonzalez crashed his vehicle during a chase. He was taken to a nearby hospital by fellow agents, and later died.

Sad Day

According to the report, Agent Gonzalez was traveling at a high rate of speed on an ATV when the accident occurred.

He reportedly crashed into a gate, suffering massive injuries.

US Border Patrol Chief Agent Raul Ortiz stated, "The death of an agent who dies while securing our nation's border is a tremendous loss to our organization and our nation."

Gonzalez is the sixth border agent to lose his life this year, a number that probably shocks most because the mainstream media rarely report these deaths.

Sadly, they are often treated the same way most outlets treat local police officers who are killed in the line of duty.

Yet, a thug gets shot and killed by an officer and it makes national headlines by every outlet in existence.

We have even seen the same attitude at the border when there is a perceived wrong, such as #WhipGate, a completely made-up incident for which Joe Biden has still yet to apologize. He addressed the nation on that, but where are his condolences to the family of agent Gonzalez?

Last year, almost three dozen agents lost their lives in the line of duty but again, it is a number that most people do not even know.

In addition to these deaths, the agency is seeing a significant spike in suicides in the department.

So far this year, eight agents have taken their own lives, three over the last month alone.

Officials have tried to downplay these numbers as being the results of other issues, but union officials have pushed back, noting many of the problems these agents are having start at the job, then leak their way into their personal lives.

While all this is happening, Joe Biden continues to ignore the crisis, saying he has more important things to look after.

He doesn't go because he knows agents and residents in these border states will be demanding answers, and he is too cowardly to face them.
