U.S. Sends Second Strike Force to Deploy in Eastern Mediterranean

We are one step closer to being neck-deep in the war in Israel.

A second carrier group has been deployed to the area to show strength for Israel.

On Saturday, it was reported that the USS Eisenhower would join the USS Ford in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin announced the movement of the carrier strike force to the area this weekend.

Austin announced, “I have directed the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower Carrier Strike Group (CSG) to begin moving to the Eastern Mediterranean.

“As part of our effort to deter hostile actions against Israel or any efforts toward widening this war following Hamas’s attack on Israel.”

On Friday, it was also reported that the USS Bataan, which is an amphibious assault ship, is being moved into the area. This is a massive amount of naval strength now committed to helping Israel defend itself.

Realistically, the United States will have boots on the ground very soon if this continues to play out the way I think it will.

Israel is preparing for a massive ground assault in Palestine, and Netanyahu really has no other choice here if he going to avoid being roasted as a war criminal.

Hamas hides within civilian areas, so the only way to truly minimize casualties among civilians is to send in ground forces and have them root out the terrorists. But this will also extend the war.

Iran has also stated that if Israel does launch a ground attack, it will then mount an attack against Israel on a second front to stretch its resources. At that point, Biden would have no choice but to help Israel with a troop commitment.

The moment we put boots on the ground or start to fire missiles and deploy drone air support, it means that Russia and/or China will probably get involved, which is the start of WWIII.

Realistically, Biden should have already enacted the Defense Production Act because every day wasted of our factories not producing equipment, weapons, and ammunition puts us behind the eight ball of being able to defend this nation if someone launches an attack against us.

Even if we are “only” fighting overseas, our arsenals are running low on supplies, so we need to get stocked up as quickly as possible before the fighting starts.

It is quite the mess that Mr. Biden has created.
