Two Migrants Arrested for Assaulting Border Agent

A disturbing report out of Texas has surfaced.

One of our border agents was brutally assaulted by migrants trying to cross the border illegally.

According to reports, the alleged assaulters have been apprehended.

The Attack

The incident reportedly took place on October 31.

The agent had stopped two migrants who were Venezuelan nationals near Ascarate Park in El Paso.

As he attempted to cuff the migrants, they resisted and refused to obey his commands.

The migrants fought with the agent, physically assaulting him, but he regained control and arrested both suspects.

The assault was described as the agent being "pushed, dragged and punched."

They have now been identified as 35-year-old Kevin Escalona Gonzalez and 27-year-old Yuleixy Mata Fuentes.

FBI El Paso Special Agent in Charge Jeffrey R. Downey stated, "The men and women of the U.S. Border Patrol work tirelessly to keep our borders safe.

"Assaults on Border Patrol agents or any other federal agents/officers or task force officers will not be tolerated and will be addressed swiftly by our office so they can continue to carry out their sworn duty to protect our communities."

With Joe Biden's open border policy, we are seeing more of these types of assaults.

Sadly, it is quickly approaching the same level of aggression we often see against our police after all the rhetoric that Democrats have spewed.
