Elon Musk wants to turn Twitter around and make it a money-printing machine.
However, he may not have any staff to do it, at least not immediately.
Musk reportedly sent out an email dropping the hammer, and hundreds of employees took him up on his offer of severance.
Work Hard or Go
Musk told staffers if they were not ready to go “hardcore,” they could leave.
Employees had until Thursday night to make their decision…

According to reports, security started removing staffers who were unwilling to commit on Thursday night.
Twitter started to explode with rumors that the site would be shutting down, but it is still up and running, with Musk regularly posting and even making light of the situation.
The one area of real concern is the engineering staff, where more than 80 percent of the staff is now gone.
All the while, Twitter usage is surging…
And … we just hit another all-time high in Twitter usage lol
