Trump Wanted Jail Time for Bowman’s Fire Alarm Stunt, But…

This week, authorities finally wrapped up their investigation into Rep. Jamaal Bowman’s fire alarm stunt during a session of Congress.

Charges were filed, and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Bowman turned himself in, then announced that he was going to take a plea deal, which would result in a fine and an apology letter to Capitol Police.

Lock Him Up

After security camera still photos were produced of Bowman pulling the fire alarm, Donald Trump called for him to be prosecuted and jailed.

Trump, at the time, stated, “Will Congressman Jamal Bowman be prosecuted and imprisoned for very dangerously pulling and setting off the main fire alarm system in order to stop a Congressional vote that was going on in D.C.

“His egregious act is covered on tape, a horrible display of nerve and criminality.”

Bowman maintained this was all accidental, stating, “Today, as I was rushing to make a vote, I came to a door that is usually open for votes but today would not open. I am embarrassed to admit that I activated the fire alarm, mistakenly thinking it would open the door. I regret this and sincerely apologize for any confusion this caused.

“But I want to be very clear, this was not me, in any way, trying to delay any vote. It was the exact opposite — I was trying urgently to get to a vote, which I ultimately did and joined my colleagues in a bipartisan effort to keep our government open.”

That, however, was a complete and utter lie.

What actually happened was Bowman walked up to the door, removed warning signs, then walked over and purposefully pulled the alarm. We know this because the full video was released AFTER Bowman locked down his plea deal.

Just as Rep. Gaetz (R-FL) stated in his X post, that clearly showed intent…

Trump was very specific about wording that he used in another post, writing, “It was a very dangerous ‘Obstruction of an Official Proceeding,’ the same as used against our J-6 prisoners.

“Actually, his act may have been worse. HE MUST SUFFER THEIR SAME FATE. WHEN WILL HIS TRIAL BEGIN???”

Only, as stated above, that will not be Bowman’s fate.

He was given a slap on the wrist and somehow the brainiac that investigated the case, at least according to Bowman, found no intent.

Bowman has been reached out to for a comment to explain why he was removing the signs from the door and not once tried the doors, but he has not responded as of yet.
