Trump Tries to Flip the Script on Democrat Accusations Levied Against Campaign
Donald Trump is now choosing to fight fire with fire.
The Democrat media machine is blowing up the narrative that Donald Trump is anti-Democratic, a threat to democracy, and may never leave the White House if he is elected again.
So, Trump’s team is now flipping that narrative, with the Trump campaign presenting Joe Biden as the real threat to democracy.
Flipping the Script
The new media narrative is that Trump will somehow turn our government into a dictatorship if he is elected, which is utterly ridiculous.
Liz Cheney, who is promoting her new book, stated that there is “no question” that Trump will never leave office if he is elected in 2024.
Ammar Moussa, a spokesman for Biden’s re-election campaign, added, “Donald Trump’s America in 2025 is one where the government is his personal weapon to lock up his political enemies.”
Trump has called out this narrative himself, stating, “Joe Biden is not the defender of American democracy. Joe Biden is the destroyer of American democracy.”
Trump has openly stated that he will “go after” people with the Justice Department, but the context being presented is far different from the narrative that Democrats, the media, and the Biden campaign are pushing.
For instance, Trump stated that he would “investigate every Marxist prosecutor in America for their illegal, racist-in-reverse enforcement of the law.”
Now, if we have prosecutors not doing their job, not prosecuting crimes, should they not be investigated? After all, is it not the Democrat Party that always talks about the rule of law?
Trump’s allies are now jumping in to help him out of this mess.
For instance, Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH) stated, “All of these articles calling Trump a dictator are about one thing: legitimizing illegal and violent conduct as we get closer to the election. Everyone needs to take a chill pill."
Trump adviser Jason Miller stated, “Dems & their media allies have given up on debating issues & have shifted to name-calling & rhetorical fearmongering.”
It is just rather ironic that the media uses Trump’s rhetoric to paint him as a dictator while they never critique the blatant gaslighting and fearmongering being used by the Democrat Party.
Let me make this clear… there is no way Congress, our military, or the American people would ever allow anyone to simply take over the government as a dictator or attempt to serve a third term, as Democrats and the media are pushing right now.
We have more than enough measures in place to prevent that from happening, and Trump running for a third term is no more realistic than the narrative that the rioters on January 6 were actually going to take over the government.
That was a horrific event, a stain, but the narrative that was pitched was about as far from reality as me playing QB for the Dallas Cowboys.
