Trump Takes Aim at Paul Ryan

Now that we are in the final stretch of the election, Trump is ramping up his attacks.

As of late, he has not been exactly happy with Fox News, so it was no surprise to see Trump go after former House Speaker Paul Ryan again.

Trump blistered him on Truth Social, demanding that Fox News get rid of him.

Remove Him

Trump posted his displeasure with both Fox News and Paul Ryan on Wednesday.

This was more than likely a result of the latest Fox News poll that showed Biden has surpassed Trump in national polling.

Trump posted, “Nobody can ever trust Fox News, and I am one of them, with the weak and ineffective RINO, Paul Ryan, on its Board of Directors.

“He’s a total lightweight, a failed and pathetic Speaker of the House, and a very disloyal person. Romney was bad, but Paul Ryan made him look worse.

“As a team, they never had a chance. Rupert and Lachlan, get that dog off your Board – You don’t need him.

“ALL YOU NEED IS TRUMP. MAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!”

Ryan has not shied away from criticizing Trump, calling him “unfit for office” earlier this month during a Fox News interview with Neil Cavuto.

Ryan has been against Trump from the outset.

He went from being a major backer of Trump during the 2016 election to immediately pushing back against Trump while serving as Speaker during Trump’s first term.

In May, when it became clear that Trump was going to be the nominee, Ryan stated that he would be writing in a candidate, adding, “Everyone knows we will well lose the election if we nominate this guy again.”

Trump responded to that statement with another post on Truth Social, writing, “Rupert Murdoch should fire pathetic RINO Paul Ryan from the Board of Fox. Ryan is a loser, always has been, and always will be.

“He was the WEAKEST & MOST INCOMPETENT Speaker of the House in its History. Fox will sink to the absolute bottom of the pack if Paul Ryan has anything to do with it!”

Fox has not sunk and continues to lead all cable news networks in ratings, including all the key demographics.
