Trump SuperPAC Announces Huge May Fundraising Numbers

It was not that long ago that I was writing reports expressing serious concern for Donald Trump’s ability to raise money and keep up with Biden.

The situation was dire, and Trump’s campaign coffers were filled with nothing but dust.

That changed rather dramatically over the last month and while Trump is still not “there,” he is pretty damned close.

Making Up Ground

The big worry for me was how the public would react to a guilty verdict.

Based on polling at the time, there was a real concern that many people would walk away from Trump with a guilty verdict.

However, when people saw the flawed case of Bragg’s, they just dug in deeper.

Donald Trump had an amazing 48 hours after the verdict, averaging more than $2 million per hour on his campaign and PAC sites.

Now the May numbers have been released, showing that Trump and his affiliated PACs raised $141 million, an astronomical number for a single month.

Not only that, but SuperPAC MAGA Inc. has vowed to spend $100 million on a massive ad buy this summer to help Trump in key battleground states.

MAGA Inc. CEO Taylor Budowich stated, "Joe Biden and the Democrats wanted a conviction, and they got it, for now. However, the fundamental political realities driving voter motivation remain unchanged.”

Biden held a huge fundraising advantage over Donald Trump coming out of March, leading him by roughly $100 million. This led to a massive ad buy for Biden, but that buy never moved the needle.

In fact, Biden has spent an estimated $100 million in ad buys since the beginning of the year, and all it did was move the needle more in Trump’s favor.

This is truly a bombshell that Trump is dropping in Biden’s campaign. What seemed very unlikely just a few months ago now seems almost a mortal lock.

I am not making that prediction just yet, but believe me, I am now leaning more into a Trump re-election than I have since this campaign got started.
