I am not sure what Donald Trump is trying to accomplish on Truth Social right now, but I do not think it is working.
Trump has come under fire for his battleground candidates tanking.
There have also been reports about him melting down behind the scenes and going off on Melania.
Trump, of course, is denying it all.
Stable Genius
On Truth Social, Trump posted, “For those many people that are being fed the fake narrative from the corrupt media that I am Angry about the Midterms, don’t believe it.
“I am not at all angry, did a great job (I wasn’t the one running!), and am very busy looking into the future.”
He added, “Remember, I am a ‘Stable Genius,’” a reference to a 2018 Twitter post that blew up with Democrats and liberals.
Trump was responding to this string of tweets by the New York Times’ Maggie Haberman…
Trump is indeed furious this morning, particularly about Mehmet Oz, and is blaming everyone who advised him to back Oz -- including his wife, describing it as not her best decision, according to people close to him.

Worth remembering that Trump is a grown man who endorsed Oz over the objection of some of the people closest to him, and instead went beyond just endorsing and attacked Dave McCormick from the stage at a rally.

Trump added, “There is a Fake Story being promulgated by third-rate reporter Maggie Hagaman [sic] of the Failing New York Times, that I am blaming our great former First Lady, Melania, and [Fox News Host] Sean Hannity, that I was angry with their pushing me to Endorse Dr. Oz.”
Trump now claims that Oz lost because he would not openly state that the 2020 election was “stolen” from Trump.
If that is the case, then he needs to explain why Doug Mastriano, Trump’s hand-picked gubernatorial candidate in the same state, was crushed by 14 points.
As a matter of fact, Trump had almost a dozen battleground candidates that did push the stolen election narrative and they all lost.
Trump then railed on Fox News, stating, “For me, Fox News was always gone, even in 2015-16 when I began my ‘journey,’ but now they’re really gone.
“Such an opportunity for another media outlet to make an absolute fortune, and do good for America. Let’s see what happens?”
Maybe it is just me, but I really don’t think Trump is helping his case with these posts.
He is, however, giving everyone a taste of what they will get if he wins the nomination and runs for president again.
