Trump Slams Biden Over Lack of American Hostages Being Freed

The big news as we headed into Thanksgiving Day was a reported cease-fire agreement between Hamas and Israel.

As part of the deal, Hamas and Israel would do a prisoner exchange.

Both the details of the plan, as well as the hostages being freed, have drawn sharp criticism.

Where Are the Americans?

The early reports of the plan had a 3:1 exchange taking place in Hamas’ favor. Hamas was to release 50 prisoners, all innocent civilians, while Israel would release 150 prisoners, most of whom are believed to be Hamas fighters who will likely rejoin the war the moment they are set free.

Even though the United States reportedly played a significant role in this deal being hatched, the lack of Americans being freed was glaring.

As of the writing of this report, there were three prisoner exchanges that took place, but only one American, a 4-year-old girl, Abigail Mor Edan, was freed.

After the first two exchanges, where an American had yet to be released, Trump went off on Truth Social.

He posted, "Has anybody noticed that Hamas has returned people from other Countries but, so far, has not returned one American Hostage?

“There is only one reason for that, NO RESPECT FOR OUR COUNTRY OR OUR LEADERSHIP. This is a very sad and dark period of America!"

The deal also came under fire from former Trump National Security Adviser John Bolton.

Bolton had stated, “The deal itself, at least as I understand the terms as they’ve been announced, is a very bad deal for Israel.

“It’s another swap of hostages — innocent victims — for criminals that are in Israeli jails at a ratio of 3:1 in favor of the Hamas terrorists.”

Biden himself stated that he still does not know the condition of the remaining nine American hostages, nor does he know the plan to free them.

Considering how much money this war will cost us, one would think that the White House would be pressuring negotiators to get us the information and the expected release of the Americans still being held.

Instead, and as usual, Joe Biden is cowering to terrorists and allowing the United States to be run over.
