Trump signs executive order eliminating use of taxpayer dollars to 'incentivize or support' illegal immigration

One of the reasons that Donald Trump beat Kamala Harris in the 2024 election was because Kamala Harris was known for things like spending taxpayer dollars on gender reassignment surgery for people in prisons.

Trump, on the other hand, promised fiscal responsibility as part of his goal of draining the swamp in Washington, DC. He's keeping his word.

According to Fox News, "President Donald Trump signed an executive order late Wednesday night ending the use of taxpayer money for federal resources supporting illegal immigration and illegal aliens."

It's a huge victory for common sense in America.

Naturally, liberals don't seem to agree with it.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, for example, is fighting against orders like this from Donald Trump by taking the side of the illegal aliens.

A recent webinar shared by the New York Democrat gave illegal aliens tips for evading Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).

Trump is sick and tired of America's government working so hard to protect illegal aliens at the expense of hardworking Americans.

His administration indicated that the executive order will ensure "taxpayer resources are used to protect the interests of American citizens, not illegal aliens."

"My Administration will uphold the rule of law, defend against the waste of hard-earned taxpayer resources, and protect benefits for American citizens in need, including individuals with disabilities and veterans," the executive order states.

A White House fact sheet on the executive order reads, "President Trump is committed to safeguarding Federal public benefits for American citizens who are truly in need, including individuals with disabilities and veterans."

The surge in illegal immigration in America that was at least partially caused by Kamala Harris' failures as Joe Biden's border czar has cost Americans "an estimated $451 billion to care for illegal aliens and gotaways in the U.S. unlawfully since January 2021," as reported by the US House Homeland Security Committee.
