Trump Says Melania Did Not Believe Nasty Rumors

So, Donald Trump chose a rather odd topic to discuss during his recent rally in Fort Dodge, Iowa.

Trump was reminiscing about the rumors that were hitting during his 2016 campaign via the now infamous Steele dossier.

As nasty as they were, Trump stated he was never in trouble with Melania over the rumors because she did not believe them at all.

Nasty Rumors

One of the narratives about Trump in the dossier was that he had spent an evening with a bunch of prostitutes engaging in some rather lewd and disgusting acts.

Trump explained, “He was with four hookers. You think that was good that night? To go up and tell my wife, ‘It is not true, darling. I love you very much. It’s not true!’

“Actually, that one she didn’t believe because she said: ‘He’s a germaphobe, he’s not into that. He is not into golden showers, as they say, they call it. He’s not.’”

The crowd ate it up, but these are all diehard Trump supporters who are attending these rallies.

There were a lot of negative comments online as well as people wondering why he would even talk about such a subject with children in the crowd.

I would really like to see Trump pivot away from this nonsense and attacking members of the Republican Party to serious agenda issues and going after Biden’s record.

We all know why Trump does this… his base loves it.

However, he does not need to worry about luring his base in because they are already going to vote for him. Trump now needs to attract moderate and independent voters as well as DeSantis voters.

There is a lot of friction between those two camps right now and Trump has to do something to fix that if he wants to win this election.
