Trump Says He’s Willing to Go to Jail After 10th Gag Order Violation
Call me crazy, but I am starting to think that Donald Trump actually wants Judge Merchan to send him to jail.
Trump was hit with his 10th gag order violation this week, as well as being told he could be going to jail if this continues.
Trump did not seem worried, saying that the Constitution is more important and he would be willing to go to jail if need be.

Trump walked out of court on Monday full of venom over the day’s events in court.
He was informed that the prosecution needs roughly two to three more weeks before they wrap things up.
Trump was also hit with another $1,000 fine by Merchan for violating the gag order again.
Merchan told Trump that the fines do not appear to be working, so jail was a real possibility if this continued.
Trump told reporters outside the courtroom, “This judge has given me a gag order and said you’ll go to jail if you violate it.
“And frankly, you know what, our Constitution is much more important than jail. It’s not even close. I’ll do that sacrifice any day.
“But what’s happening here is a disgrace, and the appellate courts ought to get involved.”
Trump has played the victim card to a tee during these proceedings, which is why I think he actually wants to get tossed into jail.
What better fundraising ad than Trump being hauled off in cuffs? His supporters will eat it up and so will the conservative pundits that have been saying Trump is a victim of a weaponized DOJ.
The downside is that Democrats will use the same picture in ads to generate money to oppose putting Trump back in the White House.
I have always thought Trump needed to keep his head down during these trials, knowing full well the deck was stacked against him.
In this case in particular, I see him getting an easy win on appeal, but staying low-key is not Trump’s style.
So far, it has worked well for him, so why stop now?
But Trump better be careful because Merchan appears to be down to his last nerve and as my father used to say, Trump is standing on it.
I have a feeling that if Trump flies off the handle one or two more times, we are going to see him in cuffs being removed from the courtroom and sent to jail.
